Kirkwood High Senior in SmilesLEAGUE All Star Game
The all star teams were made up of St. Louis area students and coached by former St. Louis Cardinals players as part of a Tobacco-Free Nation campaign.
According to a recent announcement on Patch, Jake Lowry from Kirkwood High School was among thirty-four graduating high school seniors to participate at Busch Stadium earlier this month for the third annual SmilesLEAGUE Coaches’ Choice High School Seniors All-Star baseball game.
It was hosted by Delta Dental of Missouri and the St. Louis Cardinals, the announcement states.
"The game was designed to highlight the athletic abilities of these high school players, while promoting the importance of making smart decisions on and off the field through Delta Dental’s Ignite a Tobacco-Free Nation campaign," the post states.
