Kickoff is scheduled for approximately 5:30 p.m. on Sunday February 3 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome as the San Francisco 49ers take on the Baltimore Ravens in Super Bowl 47 (XLVII if you're interested in Roman numerals).

Alicia Keys will perform the national anthem, with Beyonce headlining the halftime show.

PREDICTION

As for what will happen when the teams actually take the field, we asked Kirkwood High School Head Football Coach Matt Irvin, who is fresh off a championship of his own with the Pioneers. Irvin's response? The "only prediction that I am reasonably sure of is that I will overeat," he joked via email.
