New Men's Health Clinic Specializing in Low Testosterone Treatment Now Open in Des Peres

Men's Medical Institute, the first clinic in the St. Louis metropolitan area dedicated exclusively to the treatment of testosterone deficiency, hosted its grand opening event on Monday, April 22.

Men's Medical Institute (MMi), the first clinic in the St. Louis metropolitan area dedicated exclusively to the treatment of testosterone deficiency (Low-T) in men, hosted its grand opening event on Monday, April 22. The clinic was founded by Dr. Stephen Benz, M.D. and Dr. Ted Mimlitz, M.D., both Board Certified doctors specializing in Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT).

Accredited by the Missouri State Board of Healing Arts, Men’s Medical Institute only offers state-of-the-art testosterone replacement therapy designed to achieve maximum benefits while minimizing unwanted side effects. The treatment consists of three simple steps and is available for less than $100 a month.

Low testosterone is a condition that affects an estimated 13 million men in the US, but the symptoms are often ignored or blamed on natural aging. In most men, testosterone levels peak at age 30 and decrease each year by one to two percent. Men over 30 with Low-T will see a decline in muscle function, stamina, and endurance, and experience problems with concentration, sleep, and mental sharpness. Studies prove that older men with common health problems such as obesity, diabetes, and high blood pressure may be twice as likely as other men their age to have Low-T.

Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) is designed simply to raise circulating testosterone to a more youthful level. It has been proven to increase muscle strength, energy level, sexual performance, memory, and prostate health and to decrease blood pressure and risk of heart attack. The treatments offered by the Board Certified professionals at MMi are customized to fit individual testosterone needs, with medications that are prescription strength and can only be prescribed by licensed practitioners.

"MMi is committed to educating men, their spouses and the greater community on the importance of addressing and treating Low-T to live a healthier and active lifestyle,” said Dr. Stephen Benz, M.D., President of Men’s Medical Institute.
