Lambert Airport May Add Children's Museum Play Area

With the help of community votes, Lambert Airport may look to add a children's museum inspired play area to help entertain traveling families.

And as many of us know, traveling through an airport with children is difficult!  Whether they are your own or someone else’s who just happen to be “sitting” next to you in a terminal while you wait, you have felt the pain.

Along our travels we have seen several airports that have dedicated spaces just for kids to be entertained while you wait for your flight.

Having experienced that, I was so excited to see a suggestion in the new Rally Saint Louis movement to add a children’s museum type area to Lambert-St. Louis International Airport.

Think of all of the wait time you can fill with play time at our airport.  And of course the suggestion to make it a dedicated play area designed by The Magic House just put me over the moon!

The Magic House would LOVE to have the opportunity to work with the team at Lambert to create a space that would be entertaining, educational and showcase The Magic House and St. Louis region to those traveling through or in and out of St. Louis.

To make this a reality though, we need to get votes for this idea. The top five highest voted Rally ideas will be chosen at the beginning of each month to move on to funding phase – and this idea could use more votes to get us to that stage.

You can help make a play space at Lambert a reality by voting here (and voting daily)and by sharing with your traveling friends: http://www.rallystl.org/Ideas/Detail/4
