The Coolest Mom Ever!

The Magic House helps a mom earn the title of "Coolest Mom Ever!" during her visit. Now we want to help you earn that title.

I would love to claim that subject line as a description for myself, but I haven’t earned that title just yet. That said, I had the great pleasure of meeting a mom who happened to earn that title right here at The Magic House!

I was recently visiting our new Art Studio and had the chance to talk to some of the parents and watch the children as they let their creativity loose as they created their very own masterpieces!

It was nearing lunch time, which most parents know can be a dreaded time of day when you try to distract your child from whatever cool activity they are involved in to force them into the car to head home for lunch. If you delay too long you may be on the path to meltdowns and whining.

The mom of three was proclaimed the “Coolest Mom Ever!” when she announced that instead of packing up and heading home for lunch they were going to stay at The Magic House to eat lunch at the Picnic Basket Cafe. The kids had a chance to finish their sculptures, paintings and still life drawings and take a short walk to a tasty lunch. Sometimes it doesn’t take much to get such a stamp of approval from your child and we are glad to help you earn that important title!

We opened our Picnic Basket Cafe with the expansion of the building a few years back. To help make the experience easy on you we even offer the ability to pre-order your meal when you arrive so it is ready at the time you wish without having to wait in line to order.  And the options on the menu are specifically chosen to be something you will feel good about feeding your family – including veggies grown in our own gardens and skipping the typical fried chicken fingers and greasy french fries.

Plus, The Magic House’s Picnic Basket Cafe is also certified as a four star restaurant (one of only two in the St. Louis area) by the Green Dining Alliance for fully embracing sustainable practices and for our commitment to reducing our environmental impact.

What else could we do here at The Magic House to help make you the “Coolest Mom Ever?" Have you earned that title yet?
