Volunteers are critical in the effort to save woodlands from bush honeysuckle, an extremely invasive and aggressive plant species that is preventing native Missouri trees and wildflowers from succeeding. Join the honeysuckle-removal effort on Saturday, March 10, for the first volunteer project of the year. If you can’t help out at Laumeier, learn how to rid your yard of honeysuckle and to “grow native” with our new partner in this important habitat restoration, the Missouri Department of Conservation.  They’re offering Partners for Native Landscaping: a workshop for homeowners. Saturday, March 31, from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. at To register in advance call: 314-301-1500

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
