Greyhound Mom Ready to Relax

Meet Wendi

Wendi is a beautiful 5-year-old Italian greyhound who has been through a lot. She came into our rescue pregnant and delivered five puppies. While climbing to get to the puppies she broke her front leg. She was so physically run down from the puppies, it took four months for the break to heal in a cast. Now the cast has been removed and she is ready to find her own forever home where she can just relax. 

Our mission is to place older dogs in the loving homes of older people in the St Louis area. We do, however, take in dogs of all ages and adopt to people of all ages. We do home visits and ask for a $200 adoption donation for adult dogs and $300 for puppies.

Meet Akasha

Akasha is an 8-year-old shepherd mix available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project.

Akasha is a sweet affectionate gal that is good with all humans, including small children and gets along with all dogs and respects cats. She is moderately active and would love to go to a home where she can enjoy playing fetch as well as some well earned relaxation time. Akasha also enjoys walks and loves tennis balls! She is fully housebroken and a very well mannered dog she would make a great pal for anyone!
