Mini Pomeranian Loves Being a Lap Dog

Meet Marley Bear at the Kirkwood Petco this weekend.

Meet Marley Bear

Marley Bear is one of the special Red Ribbon Dogs available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project. He is a cute black Mini Pomeranian, who, as his name says, looks like a cuddly bear! Marley Bear is a playful dog but above all he is a lap dog and loves getting attention. This little dog is also very friendly and will make a great companion for a senior citizen.

If you would like to meet Marley Bear or any of our other adoptable dogs, stop by the Kirkwood Petco this weekend Saturday or Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

About the Red Ribbon Dogs

The St. Louis Senior Dog Project thanks to grants from Purina and the Dixie Fund during the month of February is featuring some senior and a few not-so-senior dogs as Red Ribbon Dogs. These special dogs can be adopted out by a senior citizen without any adoption fee or be adopted by someone less than 60 years of age for a reduced fee of $25.

All of these loving dogs deserve a special home and what better month to adopt and spread the love than on February!

Next weekend we will be featuring all of our Red Ribbon Dogs in a special adoption event. Stop by to say hi to these special pooches!

Thank you to the St. Louis Senior Dog Project for introducing us to Marley Bear and the Red Ribbon dogs.
