Dog Jazz Gets Paw From Blues

One of our featured Adoptable Pets of the Week has found a forever home with a little help from the St. Louis Blues.

We are happy to report that , a female 10-year-old Labrador Retriever mix, found a forever home.

Not only was Jazz an , the senior sweetie landed in the St. Louis Blues Pucks for Paws calendar, which features players with their pets, along with adoptable dogs and cats from area animal shelters.

Jazz received a helping paw from one player in particular.

Blues right wing David Backes and his wife, Kelly, sponsored vet care and other expenses for Jazz, so that she could leave a shelter and join dogs living in loving foster homes with the St. Louis Senior Dog Project, through which she found a forever home.
