Roadie is a senior rat terrier available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project.
Roadie earned his name because he was found wandering on the side of a busy road. He did not have the most luxurious or safe accommodations before so he is happy to be living it up in a nice warm and dry foster home.
He enjoys spending time with humans and likes to be loved and give tons of love and hugs! Roadie, as you can see from his picture, is a pretty happy guy. He probably has less energy than your average adult rat terrier but probably has more energy than your average senior dog. He is after all a terrier!
Roadie would make a great addition to any home. He is part of the Red Ribbon program and his adoption fee will be waived if he is adopted by a senior or will be only $50 if adopted by anyone else. If you would like to meet Roadie or other adoptable dogs stop by the this weekend between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. or check out our website here. If you can't foster or adopt we invite you to join us on our Rich and Charlies Dinner Fundraiser on the 25th of September, more info here.
Thank you to the St. Louis Senior Dog Project for introducing us to Roadie.
Dusty is a very handsome 6-year-old spaniel/collie mix. He was a stray prior to being in the St Louis County Animal Control prior to being moved to Senior Dogs 4 Seniors.
Dusty is a sweet boy. He is an easy going guy and gets along with other dogs and people. He has a wonderful soft coat and loves to be petted. He walks well on leash and enjoys his daily walks. He is calm natured and takes lots of naps. Because Dusty requires low maintenance, he would be a perfect companion for a senior person who would benefit from having a dog in their life.
Our mission is to place older dogs in the loving homes of older people in the St Louis area. We do, however, take in dogs of all ages and adopt to people of all ages. We do home visits and ask for a $200 adoption donation for adult dogs and $300 for puppies.
We are at the every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Thank you to Senior Dogs 4 Seniors for introducing us to Dusty.
