Rock the Vote: Seniors Need Facebook Click
Seniors are calling on residents to vote on Facebook today, so the Shepherd's Center of Webster/Kirkwood can expand its transportation ministry.
A new car for the means that the senior day center can help get more older adults to the grocery store and to Shepherd's Center classes.
But whether the center gets a new car depends on how many Facebook votes it can accrue by the end of the day.
Today the Shepherd's Center is competing against four nonprofits from around the country for a free car from Toyota as part of the automotive maker's 100 Cars for Good program. See .
