Schnauzer and Shepherd Need Forever Homes

Meet Lady and Brutus at the Kirkwood Petco this weekend.

Meet Lady

Lady is a beautiful 8-year-old schnauzer who is well behaved in the house and gets along well with other dogs. She sleeps quietly all night on a dog bed. She is looking for her own forever home.

Our mission is to place older dogs in the loving homes of older people in the St. Louis area. We do, however, take in dogs of all ages and adopt to people of all ages. We do home visits and ask for a $200 adoption donation for adult dogs and $300 for puppies.

We are at the every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visit the Senior Dogs 4 Seniors website.

Meet Brutus, a handsome shepherd mix available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project.

Brutus would likely be better described as an all-American mutt. He knows he is one good looking pooch and will charm his way to your heart! Brutus was found as a stray in Jefferson County and was set to be euthanized along with Bear, the doggie companion he was found with. Fortunately this pair found a foster home with the St. Louis Senior Dog Project and they are now both waiting for their forever home.

Brutus is a smart loving dog that loves to give kisses and get attention. He is an energetic dog and would do best going to an energetic family and a home with another dog so that Brutus would have a playtime companion. Meet Brutus and other adoptable dogs Saturday or Sunday at the from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Thank you to the St. Louis Senior Dog Project for introducing us to Brutus.
