Small Senior Pups Ready for Permanent Homes

Meet Saha and Jazzy at the Kirkwood Petco this weekend.

Meet Sasha

Sasha is a very sweet little Shih Tzu available for adoption through Senior Dogs 4 Seniors. We believe she is approximately 7 years old. Sasha is very well behaved in the house and loves people and other dogs. She loves to be petted and loved and sleeps quietly all night on her foster mom's bed. Sasha is learning to potty outside and is doing very well with her training, she just needs a regular routine.

Our mission is to place older dogs in the loving homes of older people in the St. Louis area. We do, however, take in dogs of all ages and adopt to people of all ages. We do home visits and ask for a $200 adoption donation for adult dogs and $300 for puppies.

We are at the every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Thank you to Senior Dogs 4 Seniors for introducing us to Sasha.

In her past life, this sweet, loving pooch used to be in a puppy mill. Thankfully, Jazzy is no longer held as a breeder and is ready to continue enjoying life. She enjoys attention and being held; she is likely trying to catch up on all the snuggles she could not enjoy for the first seven years of her life!

Jazzy does need to keep working on her housebreaking. She is doing much better than when she initially went to her foster home, but she would like to go to a kind home that will have some patience with her as she continues to work on it.

Jazzy is one of our featured Red Ribbon Dogs, which means her adoption fee will be covered if adopted by a senior citizen. If you would like to meet Jazzy or other adoptable dogs, stop by the this weekend on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday for a shorter adoption event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. We will be holding a special Red Ribbon dogs only adoption event Feb. 18, so if you or someone you know is a senior citizen looking for a special pooch, stop by and adopt without a fee! Proof of ID and filling out an adoption contract is still required.

Thank you to the St. Louis Senior Dog Project for introducing us to Jazzy.
