VIDEO: Freedom Circles Kirkwood

More Than 150 took part in the Memorial Day Freedom Run to honor veterans.

If you happened to be out and about Monday and saw a parade of military trucks, motorcycles and cars, it was a Freedom Run held to pay tribute to veterans, current military and their families.

A caravan of military trucks, motorcycles and cars circled St. Louis to honor veterans and those currently serving in the military. The parade went through Kirkwood on Interstate 270. The parade-like run began in Fenton and circled St. Louis on area highways until it returned to High Ridge.

The event was sponsored by Faces of Freedom Fighters, a charitable foundation dedicated to building the state's first national monument to honor Missouri's fallen heroes.
