Dog Dash Seeks Life in the Slow Lane

Meet Dash at the Kirkwood Petco this weekend.

This month fall in LOVE with a Red Ribbon Dog! Thanks to a grant by Purina and donations of the Dixie Fund (in honor of an elderly Shorthaired Pointer), the senior and a few not-so-senior dogs of St. Louis Senior Dog Project may be adopted now through Feb. 26 for free by a senior citizen or for an adoption fee of $25, if adopted by someone who is not a senior citizen. All of our Red Ribbon dogs would love to find their forever home and what better time to show them some love than in the month of February!

Meet Dash

One of our Red Ribbon Dogs, Dash is a 7-year-old Yellow Lab mix. Dash would like to point out to all potential adopters out there that his days of dashing around are over and that he enjoys life in the the slow lane now and he is looking for an easy going life.

When he came in to foster care, Dash was extremely over weight. his foster home has worked hard to get him to loose weight and he has much improved after shedding most of the extra weight! He is a new pooch! He is good with other dogs, cats and with children so he would be a good addition to any home.

Come meet Dash and all of our other Red Ribbon Dogs this weekend at from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Other adoptable dogs will also be there so come and meet your perfect match.
