Gov. Nixon comes to town
Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon will be in Kirkwood Monday at Greentree Pharmacy for a press conference about a house bill he vetoed in June. The bill would have supported a $200 million tax hike on prescription drugs.
High school football
After a "dead week" without any practices, try-outs and workouts, high school sports can get back to work this week. While students in Kirkwood still have another week before school starts, Patch is planning to stop by football practices in the area to see what to expect this season. Fozzie's opens this week
