No, Igor: If it comes out of their mouths it is the truth. You on the other hand have to proveRead More everything you say. At least that's the way it seemed when I last did jury duty. Hypocrisy.

Last time I had jury duty, the judge giving the instructions told us that when listening toRead More testimony, the police testimony holds no more credence than the average citizen. If you fight a ticket, guess who the judge is going to believe?

According to William A. Niskanen, one of the architects of Reaganomics, "Reagan delivered onRead More each of his four major policy objectives, although not to the extent that he and his supporters had hoped", and notes that the most substantial change was in the tax code, where the top marginal individual income tax rate fell from 70.1% to 28.4%, and there was a "major reversal in the tax treatment of business income", with effect of "reducing the tax bias among types of investment but increasing the average effective tax rate on new investment". Roger Porter, another architect of the program, acknowledges that the program was weakened by the many hands that changed the President's calculus, such as Congress.[2][21] President Reagan, has remained popular as an antitax hero despite raising taxes eleven times over the course of his presidency, all in the name of fiscal responsibility.[22] Reagan ultimately raised taxes more times than he cut them.[23] According to Paul Krugman, "Over all, the 1982 tax increase undid about a third of the 1981 cut; as a share of GDP, the increase was substantially larger than Mr. Clinton's 1993 tax increase."[10] According to historian and domestic policy adviser Bruce Bartlett, Reagan's tax increases over the course of his presidency took back half of the 1981 tax cut. Though since the Reagan tax reductions, top marginal tax rates have remained lower than at any point in US history since 1931, when the top marginal rate was raised from 25% to 63%. [24]

It's not the number of times that count, it's the size of the resulting cuts, and txes dropped underRead More Reagan, and economy boomed. Reagan's tax increases were part of a deal with Democrats to reduce spending. The taxes went up but the spending cuts never occurred. Just like Reagan's amnesty was supposed to be tied to border enforcement. Reagan's two biggest mistakes involved trusting Democrats to hold up their end of the deal. Those of us who remember that will never be fooled again.

Let's get to the point. What Jon Daniel tweeted was not true parody (or impersonation) at all.Read More Political parody should mimic the target's personality and actions, not present unrealistic scenarios that bear no resemblance to his behavior. For an example of true parody, see the Onion's current take-off of Eric Cantor. What Daniel did was nasty and unimaginative.

Democrats and Republicans one and the same on the county council. Both = UN Agenda. More GovernmentRead More control to push everyone where they want to place them.Time for Democrats to wake up to the fact that their heart to really help people have turned into only helping the elite and time for the Republicans to wake up to the fact that they are also only helping the elite.

Mr Robert E! "evolution getting re-defined" I have no disagreement on how any two humanRead More adults decide to live in this "freedom of Choice" America. My concern is that "freedom of choice" is not administered the same to all situations. Two examples: 1) Medical care is personal. "ideology" in Obamacare has stolen my freedom to choose to live a life of "no alcohol no drugs, gender changes". Yet, I am forced to financially "support" those who cherish those lifestyles. When exactly did medical care get re-defined to include paying for anything out of Hospital needs. No one has a right to puncture themselves change their gender, and scream "lifestyle freedom" at the expense of others. 2) Education Freedom?--It's one thing to offer public education (But, to label it "FREE" is totally deceiving, but another to charge every American a cost for that service. "Welfare" got re-defined , didn't it. Freedom includes "financial ability affordability". Freedom is lost in more ways than you or any scripture quotes can imagine. Specifically , People are no longer Free to choose how their education dollar is spent. So, is it right that a family who chooses One accredited school for education must also support another's education choices. So, GAY--Marriage---Medical care---Education--are "IDEOLOGY" issues, Not Religious issues. Let's just throw out all the historical definitions and meanings that made this country. Religion played no part of Christmas Season-- and what it stands for is also being stolen --to be re-defined as "Holiday Season". (Just to accommodate those who choose No-religious beliefs) So, try and funny-it-up all you want. Just how many Homosexual marriages does it take to eventually have a country of "BAST__ARDS" (Or maybe that needs to be re-defined)
