Personalized Gift Store Opens in Downtown Kirkwood

Personalization Station can put a memory on just about anything.

Since 1968, Arch Engraving has put a personal touch on items for businesses and organizations, like schools, sports teams and churches. But over the years, owner Bill Collier realized something. The personalization business, can be, well, more personal. Personalization Station, a branch business of Arch Engraving opened Oct. 26 at the corner of Kirkwood Road and Jefferson Avenue in the retail space formerly occupied by an AT&T store. "We've always been focused on businesses as as our main customer base," Collier said. "Over years, we've had a good number of consumer clients, but we never really marketed to them." New Personalized Gift Store to Open in Downtown Kirkwood

Personalization Station will open its doors Sept. 22 at the retail space formerly occupied by AT&T in Downtown Kirkwood.

Downtown Kirkwood soon will see another new business open in the heart of the shopping district. On Sept. 22, Personalization Station, the new retail division of Downtown Kirkwood's existing Arch Engraving, will hold its grand opening. Personalization Station is located in the retail space formerly occupied by AT&T at 201 N. Kirkwood Rd., at the corner of Jefferson Avenue.  From iPhone cases to baby clothing, the store is focused on personalizing gifts with customers' photos or text.  "Soon it became apparent that we needed a more 'retail' approach for our non-business consumer customers and the idea for Personalization Station (and personalizationstation.com) was born," the new business says on its website.  Leading up to the opening, …
