Police Investigating Glendale Auto Theft

Plus, recent Glendale police traffic stops land drivers in police custody.

The following information was provided by the Glendale Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.  (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.) March 30: At 12:34 a.m., police arrested a 19-year-old St. Louis man in the 9700 block of Manchester Road. He was reportedly charged with driving while intoxicated, improper lane usage, failure to register a motor vehicle, expired driver’s license, no proof of insurance, and as a fugitive of the Kirkwood, St. Ann and St. Louis County police departments. Police said he was released to Kirkwood authorities after posting bond on the Glendale charges. March 27: Formal charges are pending after a 28-year-old Florissant man was arrested at the St. Louis County …

Auto Thefts, Items Stolen From Cars in Kirkwood

OnStar helps police find one stolen vehicle, while driving on three wheels leads to a DWI arrest in this edition of Kirkwood police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.  Monday, Feb. 11: At 6:10 p.m., officers were called to the 300 block of Wind Grove Road for a reported theft from a vehicle. Police said change was stolen from the car which was parked in the garage. The garage door had been left open.  Wednesday, Feb. 13: At 7:06 a.m., police received a report of a vehicle stolen from the 9900 block of Big Bend Road. The owner reportedly went into a nearby business and left the keys in the car with it running. Five minutes later, they owner returned to find the vehicle missing, police stated. The car was recovered a few hours later with the help of OnStar. It was located in the 4700 block …
