Stalled Vehicle Leads to Drug Related Arrest

Police said a drug paraphernalia arrest was made after officers stopped to help a stalled car.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.  Monday, Feb. 18: At 11:47 p.m., one adult was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after police stopped to help a stalled car. According to police, officers were assisting a motorist whose car was stalled at the intersection of South Kirkwood Road and Woodbine Avenue when they noticed the passenger of the vehicle was concealing drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. 'Suspicious Person' Call Leads to Drug Arrest

Police were called by concerned store staff.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.  Thursday, Feb. 7: At 4:47 p.m., police were called about a suspicious person by employees of a business in the 100 block of West Jefferson. Store staff told police a man who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs wandered around the business for an extended amount of time. Officers said they located the man at another business nearby and arrested him after he was allegedly found with marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Kirkwood Police Make DWI, Drug Related Arrest

Police report a "suspicious person" call landed one person under arrest after drug paraphernalia was discovered nearby.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.  Tuesday, Jan. 22: At 11:14 a.m. police responded to a "suspicious person" call in the 300 block of Alsobrook Street. When officers arrived, they said they found an adult sleeping in a vehicle with drug paraphernalia on the other seat. Police arrested the person, who does not live in Kirwood, for possession of drug paraphernalia.  Sunday, Jan. 27: At 12:53 a.m. police pulled over a driver for a traffic violation near North Kirkwood Road and Wilson Avenue.
