Emily Nicole Ferguson, a 2011 graduate of Kirkwood High School and sophomore at Mizzou, died Friday in an accident on Interstate 70.
A funeral service is set for Emily Nicole Ferguson, 19, of Kirkwood. Ferguson died Friday while driving the wrong way on Interstate 70. She was a sophomore at the University of Missouri-Columbia and 2011 graduate of Kirkwood High School. Ferguson's funeral service is scheduled for Dec. 16, 7 p.m., at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in University City, with a private interment, according to Bopp Chapel. The church is located at 7148 Forsyth Blvd. As of Monday, an obituary had not been posted to Legacy.com. The Kirkwood Call reported Saturday that Ferguson was a 2011 graduate of KHS. Emily N. Ferguson, 19, of Kirkwood, died at the scene of the crash that happened at 3:17 a.m. near Kingdom City, MO, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Ferguson was driving west in the eastbound lanes of I-70 and struck a box truck, according to the Post.
