Des Peres Man Shot & Killed After Reaching For Officer's Gun
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports Jason N. Noroian was involved in an altercation Thursday night near the St. Louis Riverfront.
A man who was shot and killed Thursday night by a St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department officer on the Riverfront was from Des Peres. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch identified Jason N. Noroian, 32, as the man involved in the case. According to FOX2, police stopped his car and discovered outstanding arrest warrants. Police say when Noroian resisted and tried to reach for an officer's gun, the officer fired a shot into his torso. As is standard procedure, the officer in the case is now on administrative leave.
