Man Charged in Connection With Kirkwood Shooting
A Kirkwood man faces multiple charges after a shooting near the intersection of Saratoga and Orleans streets in Kirkwood Thursday night.
The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has charged 21-year-old Kenneth Tatum, of the 400 block of Saratoga Street in Kirkwood, with first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of armed criminal action after an incident in Kirkwood Thursday. At about 10:39 p.m. Thursday, the Kirkwood Police Department received several reports of shots fired near the intersection of Saratoga and Orleans streets in Kirkwood. Officers at the nearby Kirkwood Commons shopping area came across a vehicle speeding from the area. The driver stopped and notified police that his vehicle was shot at and an adult male passenger had sustained a gunshot wound.
