Meet our Adoptable Pets of the Week: Lucy Lu and Holly.

Meet Lucy Lu Lucy Lu is a senior bichon frise available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project. Lucy Lu is on the hunt for the perfect retirement home, her main requirements are a nice warm bed and someone to cuddle with. Lucy Lu came to our group in pain. This poor gal had a huge bladder stone that made her miserable. Fortunately, the stone has been removed and Lucy Lu was placed on food that will help her avoid future bladder stones.  Lucy Lu is a sweet dog that loves to snuggle and play; she would make a great companion to a senior citizen or almost any home. Kristy is ready for a loving forever home after spending her life in a breeding facility.

Kristy is a beautiful five year old beagle who is looking for a forever home.  She is well behaved and loves snuggling with her people.  She has spent her life in a breeding facility and now it is time for her to relax and receive lots of loving.   Our mission is to place older dogs in the loving homes of older people in the St Louis area. We do, however, take in dogs of all ages and adopt to people of all ages. Meet Herbie, a 6-year-old lab and our Adoptable Dog of the Week.

Herbie is looking for his own forever home.  He is a six year old lab and is a great dog.  He couldn't be any sweeter!  He gets along with other dogs, is completely housebroken, and is a major lover! Jillian is a beautiful 5-year-old Maltese that came into Senior Dogs 4 Seniors from a breeding facility. She is well behaved and is learning how to be a pet. She needs a forever home with people who are willing to continue potty training her and to treat her gently and patiently as she learns to have confidence in herself. Meet Pasha Pasha is an adult pekingese available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project. Little Pasha is about 3 years old and weighs only 9 pounds. She appears to have one goal in her life and that is to become the Ultimate Lap Dog! A 5-year-old Japanese Chin and 8-year-old Yorkie are available for adoption at the Kirkwood Petco this weekend. Meet our featured adoptable pets of the week.

Meet Hero Hero is a 5-year-old Japanese Chin available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project. Hero is a lovable dog that enjoys tons of cuddles and above anything the loves being a lapdog! He is a fairly calm and quiet pooch that would make a perfect companion for an elderly person or for any home! Hero was found as a stray and picked up by a local animal control, unfortunately his owners never came back to claim him but Hero is now recovered from that experience and enjoying his time at his foster home as he awaits a second chance at a forever home. Meet Prince, a 12-year-old poodle available for adoption through Senior Dogs 4 Senior.

Meet Prince Prince was surrendered to the St. Louis County Animal Control in terrible shape. He was very thin and was so matted that he could not open one of his eyes and it was necessary for Animal Control to shave him. He is a very sweet 12-year-old (64 in human years) poodle who loves his people and other dogs. Prince is an easy and quiet dog to have in your home. He loves to sit on your lap and he sleeps quietly all night in bed next to his foster Mom. Prince deserves to have a great life during his remaining years and is looking for a forever home. Meet Cookie and Hansel at the Kirkwood Petco this weekend. Both are well behaved and loving dogs.

Meet Cookie Cookie is a beautiful 7-year-old yorkie that came into rescue from a breeding facility. She is a very sweet little girl and is learning how to be a pet. She needs an owner who will be patient with her but she is learning fast. She is well behaved in the house and yard. She sleeps quietly all night in an xpen in the bedroom.
