Currently in a foster home, this lovely lady is looking for a forever home.
Katy is a black lab available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project. This lovely lady was at the Jefferson County Animal Control and she couldn't be happier to be now in a foster home awaiting for her forever home! Katy as any other lab is super friendly and very in to her walks. She would love a family with moderate to high activity that would engage her in playtime and walks! Katy is currently undergoing treatment for some skin and ear infections that seem to have been caused by neglect, but that doesn't stop this pooch from wagging her tail and she is always ready for a hug. Katy would make a great addition to any home. If you would like to meet her or other adoptable pets, stop by the Kirkwood Petco this weekend from …

Daisy is an older gal but she still gets around very well, in particular if it involves giving or getting a hug! She is a very affectionate girl and she would love to share her love! And if she is in need of some TLC she will make her way to you and pat you with her paw or nudge you with her nose until she gets a hug or two! Meet Buddy, our Adoptable Dog of the Week.
Buddy is a 4-year-old border collie available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project. Buddy is a very active dog with strong herding instincts, at his former home this pooch was herding chickens and we can just say that there was no happy ending for the chickens! His former family was not able to handle all the instincts that are natural to a border collie and this in turn became a dangerous situation for Buddy. At his former place he tried to "herd" a passing car resulting in a serious injury that made him loose his back right leg. This injury has not slowed Buddy down and he continues to be an active dog. Buddy is an energetic dog with tons of love to give, he is a very sweet dog that will do great in a family that …
