Kirkwood Voters Regret Not Getting Paper Ballots

A reader reports three out of four electronic voting machines failing at North Kirkwood Middle School this morning.

Patch has been asking readers across the St. Louis region how long it took them to vote today. While most reported getting in and out in 10 minutes, some voters who stopped by Kirkwood polling places had to wait for hours, according to comments. Jim W reports that it took from 10:30 a.m. to noon to vote at North Kirkwood Middle School in Kirkwood. According to Jim, three out of four electronic machines failed while he was there and were not operational by the time he left. "If you are voting here, get the paper ballot!" he advises readers. "Lines continuous at keys or, no wait if u pass on electronic ballot and chose paper one!" says Ron G.
