Man Charged With Felonies in Theft Investigation

Glendale police report a Ballwin man faces a number of felony charges in connection to a recent theft investigation.

The following information was provided by the Glendale Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.  (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.)  May 7: At 10:22 a.m., warrants were issued by the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charging Jonathan Erwood, 23, of the 500 block of Seven Trails Drive of Ballwin, in connection to a theft investigation in the 900 block of Hawbrook Road reported on March 29. Erwood is charged with one count of stealing of a credit device which is a Class C felony, and one count of fraudulent use of a credit device which is a Class A misdemeanor. Traffic Stops Lead to Drug, Fugitive Arrests

Glendale police report one woman was arrested for drug possession, while traffic stops also land people in custody who were wanted by numerous police departments.

The following information was provided by the Glendale Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.  (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.)  May 11: At 10:57 a.m., during a traffic stop in the 10,000 block of Manchester Road, a 36-year-old St. Louis County man was arrested and charged as a fugitive of the St. Louis County Police Department. During the same stop, a 47-year-old Florissant man was arrested and charged as a fugitive of the Hazelwood, Florissant and St. Louis County police departments.  Both men were released to St. Louis County authorities. Traffic Stops Lead to Numerous Arrests

Glendale police report recent traffic stops landed a number of people in police custody for outstanding warrants.

Sappington Road and charged with failure to appear and as a fugitive of the St. Louis County Police Department. He was released to St. Louis County authorities after posting bond on the Glendale charge. Friday, May 3: A 22-year-old Rock Hill man was arrested in the 400 block of N. Sappington Road and charged with failure to appear.  He was released on bond. Glendale Police Investigating Recent Thefts

Glendale police report a theft from a car, while items were stolen from another resident's lawn.

An arrest does not indicate a conviction.  (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.)  Friday, May 3: At 1:14 p.m., a resident of the unit block of Frederick Lane reported a checkbook was stolen from his unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the driveway of his residence sometime overnight. Friday, May 3:  At 7:28 p.m., a resident of the 900 block of W. Kirkham Avenue reported the theft of three lawn ornaments from his front lawn sometime overnight. Traffic Stop Lands Woman in Police Custody

Glendale police report a recent traffic stop landed a woman in custody of another police department for outstanding warrants.

An arrest does not indicate a conviction.  (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.)  Wednesday, April 24: A 38-year-old Crestwood woman was arrested in the 10,000 block of Manchester Road and charged in municipal court with failure to register a motor vehicle, no proof of insurance, and as a fugitive of the Maryland Heights Police Department.  She was released to Maryland Heights authorities after posting bond on the Glendale charges. Police Say Prescription Drug Drop-Off a 'Huge Success'

The Glendale Police Department says last weekend's drug take-back was a "huge success" netting close to 150 pounds of unwanted prescription drugs.

The following information was provided by the Glendale Police Department in a news release earlier this week. (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.)  Glendale Police Chief Jeffrey Beaton announced today the Prescription Drug Take Back Program on Saturday, April 27, 2013, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the Glendale City Auditorium, was a huge success.  During the collection period, approximately 150 pounds of prescription drugs were collected at the Glendale collection site.  The Glendale Police Department, along with many other law enforcement agencies across the metropolitan area, partnered with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to host a collection site.  This was the sixth Prescription Drug Take Back…

Teen Brothers Arrested For Domestic Assault

Glendale police are also investigating after a woman's daughter received obscene texts.

Glendale Police Offer Prescription Drug Take-Back

It's a free service with no questions asked, just drop off your unused and unwanted prescription drugs this Saturday.

The Glendale Police Department is participating in the drug take-back event in an effort to keep prescription drugs out of the hands of people who might misuse or abuse them. It's also a way to keep the drugs out of our water supply system by preventing people from flushing them.  (For instant news updates follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter.) Glendale police stated in a news release that the department is working with the DEA and accepting any prescription drugs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 27 at the Glendale City Auditorium, 424 N.
