Lori Rose is a freelance writer, preschool teacher, volunteer and mom of three kids attending Kirkwood schools. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in journalism and worked for The Associated Press for more than 10 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. She enjoys working out, playing tennis, reading, checking out what her friends are saying on Facebook and watching her kids in all of their sports and school activities. She and her family live in Des Peres.
