Pat Eby back-pedaled into a freelance writing career at age 50 in an unstudied change from her first career as an artist and designer. She still designs, makes art, gardens and patches together a creative life. Today, she works from her home office where she writes about food, design, travel, gardening, parks, art and life.
You’ll find her profiles of good cooks in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch food section on Wednesdays. She tests and writes about gadgets for Feast Magazine, where she also writes the occasional feature. From 2004 to 2011, she wrote the Seasonal Shopper column each month for Sauce Magazine.
